have been destroyed, the Order of Malta, in collaboration with the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, is opening a new clinic in Gaza City.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Up to 100 people can receive medical care there every day.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Around 30 staff members, including doctors, nurses and pharmacists, are providing assistance to people who are ill, exhausted and traumatised.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic was officially inaugurated on 22 June 2026 by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.<\/p>\n<p>For over 900 years, the Order of Malta has been supporting people in need, regardless of their origin or civilian population is heavily affected; they live amid ruins and cannot access clean water due to destroyed wells.<br \/>\n        Hygiene is deplorable, and most people live among garbage and filth.<br \/>\n        The people of Gaza are starving and live in constant fear of bombs. Despite repeated calls from authorities,<br \/>\n        the population refuses to move to safer areas. Unfortunately, these areas are already overcrowded.\n    <\/p>\n<h3>Who are we?<\/h3>\n<p>\n        The Order of Malta, the oldest Christian charitable organization, is committed to helping people in need,<br \/>\n        regardless of their origin or religion.
