The Swiss Association of the Sovereign Order of Malta, in collaboration with Aid to the Church in Need Switzerland, invites you to a special event in Einsiedeln on 31 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event combines spiritual life, international perspectives and concrete commitment to people in need. It thus addresses central concerns that characterise both the Order of Malta and \u201cAid to the Church in Need\u201d: responsibility for the faith and solidarity with oppressed and persecuted people worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The highlight of the day will be the solemn Pontifical Mass celebrated by Cardinal Kurt Koch in the monastery church at Einsiedeln. As President of \u2018Aid to the Church in Need\u2019 and a voice of the universal Church, he embodies the close connection between spiritual roots and concrete action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the afternoon, there will be a panel discussion addressing current issues at the intersection of faith and humanitarian responsibility. Representatives of the Order of Malta and Aid to the Church in Need, together with Cardinal Kurt Koch, will explore how aid can be provided effectively today and what role the spiritual dimension plays in this. The Order of Malta will contribute its perspective as a spiritual community that sees its mission as serving the faith and those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is aimed at members and friends of the Order, as well as anyone interested in exploring the challenges and opportunities of church-based and humanitarian engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
