The Hospitaller Service Switzerland is a charitable work of the Swiss Association of the Order of Malta.
Founded in 1974 it unites more than 900 members as volunteers or supporters. All of them are in service to the sick and the poor. Following the spirit of the Order, the members live according to the motto “Obsequium papuerum”, meaning to live as Christians in their environment, supporting the disadvantaged, the sick and the disabled regardless of their origin and beliefs.
Divided into 14 sections the members organise appropriate activities according to the local needs.
