Meeting of the Order of Malta Switzerland, Einsiedeln : 24 – 26 Septembre 2021
H. Em. Cardinal Miguel Angel Ayuso Guixot, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, introduced the papal encyclical “Fratelli tutti” to the members of the Order of Malta. The letter, which is critical of the capitalist economy and focuses on the primacy of the fraternity among all people, gave rise to committed discussions. The Helvetic Association also held its General Assembly in Einsiedeln and eleven new members were solemnly admitted to the Order in a pontifical mass. The more than 100 participants appreciated the spiritual and social exchange under the protection of Our Lady of Einsiedeln after a long Corona-related abstinence.
